Staying current with the National Construction Code (NCC) is essential. 

The NCC is updated every 3 years to reflect changes in technology, innovation, and environmental priorities. Keeping your knowledge up to date helps you apply the NCC confidently and effectively in your work or studies. 

The ABCB provides education and resources to help practitioners. educators, and students understand, apply and teach the NCC with confidence. 

Our goal is to make it easier for you to stay informed and competent in using the Code. 

The Guide to Volume One explains the intent behind NCC provisions and is integrated directly into the online NCC. You'll also find additional guidance within the explanatory information boxes across the other volumes.

We develop learning materials and resources for educators to use in their training and courses. These resources support consistent and accurate teaching of the NCC.

The ABCB also collaborates with higher education and VET providers to strengthen NCC coverage across relevant curricula.
